Auspicious Pear Dumplings

INGREDIENTS

Ingredient

  • Japanese dumpling wrappers

Dumpling Filling

  • 200g Prawns, cubed
  • 220g Chicken, minced
  • 200g Korean golden pear, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 100g Cabbage, shredded
  • 50g Carrot, diced
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • ½ tsp White pepper
  • 2 tbsp Angel Light Soy Sauce (Selected)

Dipping Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Korean golden pear, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Young ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, nely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Angel Light Soy Sauce (Selected)
  • 1 tbsp Angel Bean Paste (Minced)
  • ½ tbsp Angel Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Angel Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine all the dipping sauce ingredients, mix well and set aside.
  2. Prepare dumpling filling by combining all the ingredients together. Use a spoon to mix well.
  3. To assemble a dumpling, place a piece of dumpling wrapper on your palm and spoon 1 teaspoon of filling in the center. Do not overll. Dip your index finger into some water and moisten the outer edge of the wrapper. Fold the dumpling to form a half moon shape. Repeat till all the filling is used up.
  4. Arrange the dumplings on a parchment paper, and put inside a steamer.
  5. Heat a pot of water and bring to a boil. Steam the dumplings on high heat for 6-8 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with the dipping sauce.
